What is this tool?
A QR code generator turns text or a URL into a scannable square you can download. The pattern contains that payload — nothing is hosted “inside” the code.
Static codes do not expire. If you encoded https://example.com/promo, the square works until that URL breaks. There is no way to change the destination later without printing a new code, unless you encoded a short link you control and change the redirect.
Keep payloads short. Dense codes need more printed size and fail on glossy or tiny stickers. Leave quiet space around the square and do not stretch it into a rectangle.
A QR code can hold a phishing URL as easily as yours. Show people the link when you can. Do not scan prize stickers from strangers. Encoding is not encryption: a Wi-Fi QR is the password in a picture.
